Newberry SW Watermain
The City of Newberry undertook a project to extend the water main in southwest Newberry, improving service by creating a loop and backfeed for a significant portion of the city’s service area. The project involved approximately 2,100 linear feet of 12-inch water main along SW 15th Avenue, extending between SW 260th Street and SW 266th Street. An additional 4,100 linear feet of 12-inch water main was installed along the east side of CR 337/SW 266th Street, running north to Newberry Road and south to SW 18th Road. The extension also included 500 linear feet of 8-inch water main along SW 264th Street, connecting the new 12-inch main on SW 15th Avenue to the existing termination on SW 264th Street. Andrews Construction, Inc. was proud to be the lead for the entire project.
